Insignia

Insignia is all about bringing the best of modern technology to the world of showering.  It has built its brand by setting the lead the competition follows and has succeeded in turning the shower from the poor relation to a bath, into a first-choice option, even for those with space for a bath.

For decades, centuries even, showers were taken for granted.  In a way, that’s understandable, the basic principles underlying them are very simple.  Thanks to Insignia, however, the traditional bathroom shower has finally been given a 21st century refresh and is now undergoing a process of continuous improvement.

Change often happens gradually and so it has been with Insignia’s progress towards modernizing the shower.  First of all, “old-school” shower enclosures were replaced with self-contained shower cabins, which brought about two, key, improvements.  Firstly, it eliminated the need for tiling the walls behind the enclosure and secondly it allowed for much more flexibility in showering options.  In particular, it made it possible to include a monsoon shower head along with a hand shower and hydro-massage jets.

The next big step forward came with the addition of steam, with all its many health and wellness benefits.  If there ever was one, single, compelling reason to opt for a shower in preference to a bath, steam has a claim to be it.  While an FM radio and mood lighting were arguably more minor additions, they still enhanced the showering experience and helped to make people feel that they were enjoying a distinct alternative to a bath, rather than making do as best as they could without one.  Since then, Insignia has kept up their trademark innovation, adding features such as Bluetooth connectivity, Aromatherapy Modular Injection and the Tri Jet Steam System.

Just as Insignia is always quick of the mark to integrate the best of the newest technologies into its products, it’s also eager to seek out improvements to its manufacturing and to its customer service.  For example, Insignia has put the customer in control of the service process by smoothly integrating online self-service with traditional customer service.  When customers need help from Insignia, they fill in an online form and Insignia calls them back, usually within 2 hours or less.
